Resource Use Efficiency (RUE) in Lentil Production in Terai and Inner Terai Regions of Nepal

A study was carried out to estimate and analyze the profitability resource use efficiency of lentil grain seed production in Nepal's terai inner regions. Using a pre-tested questionnaire, primary data information were collected from 300 producing farmers, categorized by local users, improved 100 farmers Kailali, Dang, Siraha districts. The revealed that B:C ratio higher (1.59) than (1.41). benefit both realized mainly due increased prices rather production. Return scale found be increasing (1.016) using seed, but it decreasing at rate (0.854) (0.822). Analysis on labor input is excessively overused, reflecting Marginal Value Product less unity To get maximum profit land preparation, threshing, post-harvest should while amount other inputs.
